Crime writer, Dwayne Clayden has served many roles over his forty plus years in Emergency Services. He has spoken internationally and is a recognized expert with an extensive background in the medical and police field. His first novel, Crisis Point, was a finalist for the 2015 Crime Writers of Canada, Unhanged Arthur Ellis Award.
Dwayne’s latest endeavor involves helping authors integrate realistic emergency procedures into their writing. His show, First Aid 4 Writers, is streamed once a month as he prepares to launch a new series, “Writing Realistic Scenes.” The books will provide information on EMS, Police, Fire, Air Medical, and 911/Dispatch.
